How do we foster that love—particularly within the children of our communities? We assert that this is best accomplished when the home, school, and church work together—so that our children develop the mind of Christ and their God-given abilities in order to serve others and extend God’s kingdom. Ours is a counter-cultural message. Current Western philosophies view humans as merely one among many species and promote ‘self’ above all else. Consumer culture and hedonism prevail. In contrast, a biblical worldview declares that we are made in the image of God, and ‘This is My Father’s World’. God is the focus. We are first to serve him and one another—not ourselves. We are invited by God to be agents of transformation and restoration of all aspects of his world. We are to exercise obedient stewardship; stewardship of our time, our talents and our treasures.
